Job Summary
Tamcon Software Solution is seeking a highly competent, proactive, and hands-on IT & Office Systems Administrator responsible for managing and maintaining the organization’s entire IT infrastructure. The role ensures smooth, secure, and uninterrupted operation of network systems, hardware, software, and office technology while providing reliable technical support to users.
Job Requirement
- Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field from a recognized institution.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in office IT maintenance, system administration, or infrastructure support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain office LAN, Wi-Fi, and internet connectivity.
- Configure and manage routers, switches, firewalls, and access points.
- Manage IP addressing, DHCP, DNS, and network performance monitoring.
- Administer Active Directory including user accounts, permissions, and group policies.
- Manage company email systems (Office 365 / Google Workspace).
- Maintain file servers, shared folders, and access control systems.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, POS systems, and peripherals.
- Perform hardware troubleshooting, upgrades, and system updates.
- Provide first-line and second-line IT support to staff.
- Train users on systems, POS operations, and IT best practices.
- Implement backup systems and ensure data integrity and security.
- Monitor systems proactively and resolve technical issues promptly.
- Manage printers, scanners, and office devices, including drivers and access.
- Maintain IT asset inventory and software license tracking.
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers when necessary.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, and network configuration.
- Experience with Windows client and server environments.
- Proficiency in email systems administration (Office 365 / Google Workspace).
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability.
- Good understanding of cybersecurity and data protection practices.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Excellent communication and user support skills.
- Familiarity with hardware maintenance and peripheral management.
Additional Requirements:
- CompTIA A+ Certification is highly preferred.
- CompTIA Network+ or equivalent certification is an advantage.
- Experience with VoIP systems is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of backup solutions and IT security fundamentals.
- Willingness to provide occasional after-hours support when required.
