Jr. Accountant ( Female Candidates Only)

Job Summary:

The Junior Accountant will assist in day-to-day accounting activities, including recording transactions, maintaining financial records, and supporting the finance department in preparing reports and reconciliations. The position is ideal for a motivated and detail-oriented individual who is eager to grow professionally in accounting and finance within a dynamic company environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Record daily financial transactions and assist with data entry.
• Help in preparing vouchers, invoices, and payment documents.
• Assist in bank reconciliation and petty cash management.
• Support the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports.
• Maintain proper filing and documentation of accounting records.
• Assist in tax preparation and submission under the supervision of a senior accountant.
• Follow up on payments and receivables.
• Perform other finance-related tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualification and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree (BA) or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in accounting or related roles.
• Basic knowledge of Ethiopian tax laws and accounting principles.
• Familiarity with accounting software (Peachtree, QuickBooks, or similar) is an advantage.
• Strong computer skills, especially in MS Excel and Word.
• Good communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
• High level of accuracy, integrity, and willingness to learn.
