Position Summary
Under the supervision of the Lead Architect, the Junior Architect is responsible for assisting supervisors in:
- Preparation of Architectural plans, design, and layout
- Architectural technical specifications
- Architectural portion of project proposals at different stages
Responsibilities
- Execute Architectural plans and proposals under the direction of the Lead Architect or Senior Architect
- Develop Architectural concept designs for small-scale projects
- Ensure design quality through SOP and checklists for reporting to Senior Architect
- Assist in Architectural concept design under supervision
- Maintain design quality through SOP and checklists for reporting to SAR
- Perform any other duties as required by the immediate supervisor
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field with 0 years of experience
- Professional Architect license (PPAR) from the Authority Having Jurisdiction in Ethiopia; City/Regional license is preferable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Deadline-driven with strong planning skills
