Position Summary

Under the supervision of the Lead Architect, the Junior Architect is responsible for assisting supervisors in:

• Preparation of Architectural plans, design, and layout
• Architectural technical specifications
• Architectural portion of project proposals at different stages

Responsibilities

• Execute Architectural plans and proposals under the direction of the Lead Architect or Senior Architect
• Develop Architectural concept designs for small-scale projects
• Ensure design quality through SOP and checklists for reporting to Senior Architect
• Assist in Architectural concept design under supervision
• Maintain design quality through SOP and checklists for reporting to SAR
• Perform any other duties as required by the immediate supervisor

Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field with 0 years of experience
• Professional Architect license (PPAR) from the Authority Having Jurisdiction in Ethiopia; City/Regional license is preferable
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Deadline-driven with strong planning skills
