Junior Disbursement Accountant

Job Description

The Junior Disbursement Officer plays a vital role in supporting the financial operations of Digaf Micro-Credit Provider SC.

This is a full-time, entry-level position suitable for fresh graduates interested in accounting and finance.

The role involves processing disbursements, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and maintaining accurate financial records.

The position is based in Addis Ababa and contributes to the efficiency of the organization’s finance department.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in processing disbursement requests accurately and in a timely manner
• Maintain and update financial records and documentation
• Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and external regulations
• Coordinate with departments to verify and validate disbursement information
• Support preparation of financial reports for management review
• Monitor and track disbursement transactions to identify discrepancies
• Respond to inquiries regarding disbursement processes and policies
• Participate in audits by providing required documentation and information
• Contribute to team meetings and suggest process improvements
• Support additional accounting and finance tasks as assigned
