Job Summary
Junior Export Documentation Officers maintain contact with customers to inform them of the status of their shipments. Responsibilities include maintaining an open office communication line for answering clients’ questions and providing helpful information to other callers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Exchange bank details with clients, receive shipping instructions, and draft LC.
- Support agricultural commodity buying, transportation, sorting, warehousing, and forward specifications for coffee preparation.
- Receive permits and forward them to the transporter along with shipping instructions and invoices.
- Follow up, facilitate, and secure certificates (quality, phytosanitary, fumigation, etc.).
- Follow up and receive staffing reports and request BOL.
- Receive and confirm BOL with the shipping line.
Coordinate with the export team to prepare and process export documentation, including invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading.
Verify and compile documents and forward them to the facilitator.
Perform other related duties as assigned by the General Manager or Division Head.
Qualification:
- BA degree in logistics, supply chain management, business management, accounting, marketing, or a related field of study.
- Minimum 1-3 years of work experience as a documentation officer in an import and export company. Preferably, experience in the coffee industry is a plus.
Required Skills:
- Proven work experience as a Documentation Officer.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Multitasking ability and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English).
- Willingness to work long hours when necessary.
