Job Purpose:
The Junior Finance Officer will support the finance department in day-to-day financial operations, including bookkeeping, reporting, and assisting with audits. This entry-level role provides hands-on experience in financial management and accounting practices under the supervision of senior finance staff.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and ledgers.
- Support the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets.
- Assist in processing invoices, payments, and reconciliations.
- Help ensure compliance with company financial policies and procedures.
- Support audits and documentation as required.
- Perform other finance-related tasks assigned by the supervisor.
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from a recognized institution.
Professional Experience:
- No prior experience required; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
Core Skills / Competencies:
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Detail-oriented and committed to accuracy and integrity.
