Job Summary
Heal Africa Health City S.C. is a pioneering healthcare initiative committed to improving health and well-being across Africa. We are on the lookout for a Junior Full Stack Developer to join our tech team and help us build cutting-edge digital solutions for healthcare. Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using React.js and C# to support health services
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs to connect various health systems and applications
- Work with SQL Server to design, query, and optimize healthcare databases
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Design, QA, Product) to build scalable, secure, and user-friendly healthcare tools
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to improve system performance
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices for a high-quality codebase
Qualifications
- 0 - 2 years of experience with React.js (components, hooks, state management)
- Understanding of C# and the .NET Framework/Core
- Knowledge of API development and integration
- Experience with SQL Server (queries, stored procedures, schema design)
- Familiarity with Git or other version control systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
Bonus Points:
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS)
- Basic understanding of UI/UX principles for building intuitive healthcare interfaces
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies
