Jr. Full Stack Developer

Job Summary

Heal Africa Health City S.C. is a pioneering healthcare initiative committed to improving health and well-being across Africa. We are on the lookout for a Junior Full Stack Developer to join our tech team and help us build cutting-edge digital solutions for healthcare. Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using React.js and C# to support health services
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs to connect various health systems and applications
• Work with SQL Server to design, query, and optimize healthcare databases
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Design, QA, Product) to build scalable, secure, and user-friendly healthcare tools
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to improve system performance
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices for a high-quality codebase

Qualifications

• 0 - 2 years of experience with React.js (components, hooks, state management)
• Understanding of C# and the .NET Framework/Core
• Knowledge of API development and integration
• Experience with SQL Server (queries, stored procedures, schema design)
• Familiarity with Git or other version control systems
• Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)

Bonus Points:

• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS)
• Basic understanding of UI/UX principles for building intuitive healthcare interfaces
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies
