Job Summary
The Junior Off-Highway Dump Truck Operator is responsible for operating heavy-duty dump trucks to transport raw materials, aggregates, and other production inputs safely and efficiently within the factory or project premises. The role supports continuous operations by ensuring timely material movement and adherence to safety procedures.
Job Requirement
- Qualification: TVET / Diploma / Technical training in Auto Mechanics, Automotive Technology, Heavy Equipment Operation, or related field is preferred.
- Experience: Relevant experience in heavy vehicle or machinery operation is advantageous. Fresh applicants with the required license may apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate off-highway dump trucks safely within factory or operational areas.
- Transport raw materials, soil, aggregates, or production materials efficiently.
- Conduct daily pre-operation inspections of the assigned truck.
- Report mechanical faults, damage, or safety concerns immediately.
- Follow traffic movement plans, loading instructions, and site safety rules.
- Maintain cleanliness and basic care of the assigned equipment.
- Support uninterrupted material flow for production operations.
Skills:
- Good vehicle handling and operational awareness.
- Understanding of heavy equipment safety procedures.
- Ability to follow instructions and schedules.
- Basic mechanical awareness is an advantage.
- Reliable, disciplined, and safety-conscious.
