Jr. Quality Assurance (qa) Engineer

Job Summary:

The Junior QA Engineer will assist in ensuring that our products, services, or software meet the required quality standards and customer expectations. Working under the guidance of senior QA team members, the Junior QA Engineer will be involved in testing, identifying bugs, and verifying fixes to ensure the delivery of high-quality products. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in executing test cases and reporting defects accurately.
• Collaborate with the development team to understand software requirements and functionality.
• Participate in the preparation of test plans, test cases, and documentation.
• Conduct manual and automated testing to ensure product stability and performance.
• Support senior QA members in regression, functional, and integration testing.
• Record and track issues using QA tools and ensure timely resolution.
• Verify that products meet business and technical requirements.
• Stay updated with QA best practices, tools, and testing methodologies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
• Basic understanding of software testing principles and QA processes.
• Familiarity with bug-tracking tools and test management systems (e.g., Tuleap ) is a plus.
• Knowledge of programming or scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java, or SQL) is advantageous.

Work Experience:

• 0–2 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance (internship experience is acceptable).
