Job Summary
The Junior Technician is responsible for supporting the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical and mechanical systems across district offices and branch buildings. The role ensures operational efficiency, workplace safety, and the proper functioning of technical equipment and facility systems.
Job Requirement
- Qualification: Diploma or TVET Level IV in General Mechanics or related field from a recognized institution.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year relevant work experience. Banking experience is an advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical and mechanical systems.
- Inspect, service, and maintain generators, lifts, pumps, and other equipment.
- Identify technical faults and report maintenance needs promptly.
- Assist in the installation of electrical lines, telephone systems, and machinery.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and technical standards.
- Prepare material and spare part requirements for maintenance activities.
- Coordinate with external service providers and contractors when necessary.
- Maintain maintenance records and technical reports.
- Perform additional duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Skills:
- Technical knowledge of electromechanical systems and equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability.
- Attention to detail and commitment to safety compliance.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and time management skills.
