Senior Laboratory
The Senior Laboratory Technologist is responsible for overseeing laboratory operations, ensuring accurate testing procedures, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety within the laboratory environment.
Requirements
- Laboratory Technologist position with senior-level responsibilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Laboratory, Biomedical Sciences, or a related field
- Proven experience in laboratory operations, testing procedures, and quality assurance is preferred
- Strong knowledge of laboratory equipment, diagnostic techniques, and safety standards
- Ability to manage and supervise laboratory activities and workflows efficiently
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in test results
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee daily laboratory operations to ensure efficiency and compliance with standards
- Perform and supervise laboratory tests, analyses, and diagnostic procedures
- Ensure proper implementation of quality control and quality assurance systems
- Monitor accuracy and reliability of test results and address any discrepancies
- Train, mentor, and evaluate junior laboratory staff and interns
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure proper functionality
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements
- Maintain proper documentation, records, and reporting of laboratory activities
