Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Librarian to manage the school library, ensuring students and teachers have access to high-quality learning resources. The Librarian will organize and maintain books and digital materials, support students in developing reading habits. This role plays a key part in promoting literacy, curiosity, and a love for reading, while contributing to the school’s mission of academic excellence and inclusive learning.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily library operations: book lending, cataloging, and inventory
- Support students and teachers in accessing research and reading materials
- Promote literacy through reading programs and library activities
- Maintain digital and physical library systems
Qualifications
- Degree or Diploma in Library Science and Information Science or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a school or public library
- Proficiency in English
- Strong organizational and computer literacy skills
