Job Description:
- Diagnosing issues with machinery and equipment, performing repairs, and ensuring optimal functioning.
- Assisting in the design and modification of systems and components, including creating technical drawings, specifications, and machine parts.
- Troubleshooting, diagnostics, and resolving mechanical and electromechanical issues in our machinery and systems.
- Use diagnostic tools to analyze and troubleshoot problems
- Assist in the routine maintenance and inspection of equipment and machinery.
- Provide technical support to other team members or departments.
- Maintain records of maintenance activities, repairs, and modifications.
- Assist in updating technical manuals and operational procedures
- Participate in cross-functional teams for projects and improvements.
- Collaborate with technical and production teams to create smooth relations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electromechanical Engineering.
- 0 - 4 years of experience in a similar role.
- Knowledge of mechanical drawings and industrial components
- Knowledge of workshop tools and mechanical machine elements
- Knowledge of MS Office, job-related software, and communication apps.
- Flexibility in working hours and availability for emergency calls.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills and proficiency in the English language.
- Understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems (advantageous).
- Experience with welding and lathe machine techniques (advantageous).
- Lives or is willing to live in Bishoftu.
