Midwife Nurse

Job Summary:

The Midwife Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality maternal and neonatal care, supporting women throughout pregnancy, childbirth, and the postnatal period. The role requires strong clinical skills, empathy, and commitment to ensuring safe and positive birth experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care to mothers and newborns.
• Monitor maternal and fetal well-being throughout labor and delivery.
• Administer medications and perform clinical procedures as necessary.
• Offer family planning advice and reproductive health education.
• Assist in managing obstetric emergencies in coordination with physicians.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure patient confidentiality.
• Promote health awareness and hygiene practices in the community.

Qualifications and Requirements:

•  Bachelor’s Degree in Midwifery from a recognized institution.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience.
• Valid professional license or registration as a Midwife Nurse.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.
• Ability to work in a team and handle emergency situations calmly
