Job Overview
On behalf of our client, we are seeking a Procurement Officer with strong knowledge of EFDA requirements and proven experience in the medicine import sector. The ideal candidate will manage and oversee the procurement process, ensuring compliance with EFDA guidelines and company standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle the procurement of medicines and related products in line with EFDA regulations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local and international suppliers.
- Prepare and review procurement documents, contracts, and purchase orders.
- Ensure timely sourcing, purchasing, and delivery of products.
- Collaborate with finance and logistics teams to ensure smooth import operations.
- Monitor supplier performance and negotiate cost-effective agreements.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation.
Qualifications & Requirements
- BA degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in procurement, preferably in a medicine import company.
- Strong knowledge and working experience with EFDA requirements is highly preferred.
- Proven negotiation, communication, and supplier management skills.
- Excellent command of English (spoken and written).
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines under a part-time schedule.
