Job Summary:
Under the general supervision of the Center manager, the Program Officer assists the Center manager in planning, organizing, coordinating, and supervising the Rehabilitation Centers, CBR activities, and project implementations .
Responsibilities
- Plans and develops methods and procedures per the directives of the center manager for implanting CE programs in the Rehabilitation center and CBR activities.
- Develops a yearly and biannual plan based on the donor requirement and budget approved
- Assists and coordinates the center’s program activities and exercises control over personnel for specific functions or phases of the program
- As per the directives of the center manager, coordinates activities concerned with implementation and carrying out objectives of programmatic interventions and projects
- Organizes reports and records of activities to ensure that progress is being accomplished towards specified program/project objectives
- Conducts periodic monitoring to projects and track developments and provide supportive on-site feedback
- Works in collaboration with monitoring and evaluation team of the HQ whenever necessary
- Collects the appropriate data and prepares periodic project reports for the program director or for donors per the directives of the Center manager
- Ensures planned expenditures of projects in accordance with budget allocations
- Advices the center manager in all program issues and develops project proposals, ToRs, communication tools, leads assessments/surveys per the general directive of the center manager
- Performs other similar duties as assigned by the Program Director or Executive director
Qualification
- MA/BA in sociology or social work or Public health or Project management or related fields
- For MA 4 years and for BA 6 years
