Trident Educational Consultants is an international education consultancy firm based in Addis Ababa, specializing in connecting Ethiopian students and professionals with universities in Europe and North America.
The company is expanding its operations and seeks a motivated and English-fluent professional to serve as the first point of contact for clients and manage international communications.
Position Summary
The Receptionist & International Communications Officer is responsible for managing front-desk operations while also handling communication with international partner institutions.
This dual-role position combines customer-facing responsibilities with global communication tasks, requiring strong English proficiency, organizational skills, and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist walk-in clients, students, and visitors in a professional manner
- Manage incoming calls, emails, and correspondence in English and Amharic
- Liaise with international partner institutions via email and virtual communication
- Draft, proofread, and send professional correspondence in English
- Maintain organized records of agreements, student inquiries, and application files
- Coordinate meetings, appointments, and follow-ups with management and partners
- Assist in preparing visa support documents and consultancy materials
- Support administrative and daily office operations
- Monitor and respond to office email accounts promptly
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front-office environment

Education
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in English Language, International Relations, Business Administration, or related fields
Experience
- 0–2 years of experience in receptionist, customer service, or administrative roles
- Fresh graduates with strong English skills are encouraged to apply

- Professional phone etiquette and email communication
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and internet tools
