Job Summary: The Receptionist/Admin Assistant is responsible for providing efficient administrative and clerical support while maintaining excellent communication and a professional attitude. The role involves assisting visitors, managing office communications, coordinating logistics, and supporting staff with administrative tasks, while upholding organizational values and ensuring smooth day-to-day office operations.
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Office Management, Secretarial Sciences, or related field
Experience:
- Minimum of 1–2 years of relevant experience in office management (NGO experience is an advantage)
- Formal training in office procedures, Microsoft Office applications, and office equipment
- Knowledge of office administration and basic bookkeeping procedures is a plus
Language:
- Proficiency in English and Amharic
- Knowledge of a regional language is required
- Additional national languages are an advantage

- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage incoming calls, direct them appropriately, and take messages
- Greet and assist visitors professionally
- Arrange and coordinate meetings, trainings, and workshops
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, scanning, and correspondence
- Manage travel arrangements, hotel bookings, and guest accommodations
- Maintain office records, documents, and visitor logs
- Support staff with logistics, event coordination, and administrative needs
- Prepare payment documentation and handle office-related financial processes
- Monitor calendars and coordinate staff engagement activities
- Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor
