Job Summary
The Relief Secretary Cashier is responsible for providing administrative and cashier support by handling cash transactions, maintaining financial records, preparing reports, managing office correspondence, and ensuring smooth day-to-day office operations. The role also provides relief support to secretarial and cashier functions whenever required, while maintaining accuracy, confidentiality, and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, verify, and process cash payments and issue official receipts.
- Prepare daily cash collection reports and reconcile cash balances.
- Maintain petty cash records and ensure proper documentation of transactions.
- Prepare payment vouchers, receipts, and other financial documents.
- Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, telephone calls, and emails.
- Maintain proper filing systems for financial and administrative documents.
- Schedule appointments, meetings, and maintain office records.
- Provide secretarial and cashier support during staff absences or peak workloads.
- Assist in preparing periodic financial and administrative reports.
- Ensure confidentiality of company information and financial records.
- Perform other related duties assigned by the supervisor.
Educational Qualification
- TVET Level IV / College Diploma in Accounting or a relevant field of study.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience in cashier, accounting, or administrative roles.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and cash handling procedures.
- Good organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work with integrity.
- Good customer service and problem-solving skills.
