Job Description
East Africa Bottling S.C., a subsidiary of Coca-Cola Beverages Africa and the exclusive bottler of Coca-Cola products in Ethiopia, invites passionate and qualified candidates to apply for the position of Route to Market Specialist. The successful candidate will report directly to the Country Lead – Route to Market.
The Route to Market Specialist is responsible for:
- Designing, implementing, and optimizing distribution strategies
- Ensuring products are available at the right place, right time, and right cost
- Strengthening market penetration and improving execution excellence
- Building strong partnerships with distributors and retailers
- Driving sales growth and maximizing customer satisfaction
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Apply RTM models to allocate resources and schedule customer visits efficiently.
- Evaluate and optimize RTM setups to enhance commercial performance.
- Simulate and test RTM models to ensure feasibility and effectiveness.
- Maintain accurate customer master data to support route planning and reporting.
- Align with finance, HR, and sales teams to ensure consistent RTM execution.
- Continuously review RTM processes and drive improvements for efficiency.
Skills, Experience & Education
- First Degree in business-related fields with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a sales role in the FMCG industry, demonstrating a deep understanding of Route to Market process, customer engagement, and market dynamics.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and routing/logistic software, with a proven ability to analyze data, manage complex routing systems, and optimize logistical operations for improved efficiency.
