Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to strengthen our financial management systems. The successful candidate will play a critical role in maintaining financial accountability, optimizing resource utilization, and supporting our mission-driven work.

 Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and payroll
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and Report to tax Center timely.
• Ensure strict compliance with Ethiopian tax laws
• Lead annual audit processes and serve as primary liaison with external auditors
• Develop and implement robust financial policies and internal controls
• Mentor and supervise junior finance staff members

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or MSC in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience
• 2+ years Worked in Senior Accountant Position
• Expertise in accounting software’s including IFRS Knowledge
• Advanced Peachtree,Excel skills and financial modeling capability
• Strong knowledge of Ethiopian tax laws

Additional Skills - Worked in Import and Export Company and good Knowledge in Single window Operation.
