Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to strengthen our financial management systems. The successful candidate will play a critical role in maintaining financial accountability, optimizing resource utilization, and supporting our mission-driven work.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and payroll
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and Report to tax Center timely.
- Ensure strict compliance with Ethiopian tax laws
- Lead annual audit processes and serve as primary liaison with external auditors
- Develop and implement robust financial policies and internal controls
- Mentor and supervise junior finance staff members
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or MSC in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience
- 2+ years Worked in Senior Accountant Position
- Expertise in accounting software’s including IFRS Knowledge
- Advanced Peachtree,Excel skills and financial modeling capability
- Strong knowledge of Ethiopian tax laws
Additional Skills - Worked in Import and Export Company and good Knowledge in Single window Operation.
