Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant with 6(Six) years of relevant work experience to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing accounting operations, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and supporting management with accurate financial reporting and analysis.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies
- Supervise and support junior accounting staff
- Manage general ledger, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing processes
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis reports
- Coordinate internal and external audits and respond to audit findings
- Monitor cash flow, expenses, and financial controls
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to management
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 6 years of proven experience in accounting or finance roles
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax laws
- Proficiency in accounting software (Peachtree) and MS Excel
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail
