Sr. Accountant

Job Summary:

On behalf of our client we are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our client’s team managing a commercial building. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting knowledge, excellent attention to detail, and experience handling financial operations in a professional business environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee daily accounting operations.
• Prepare and maintain financial statements, ledgers, and reports.
• Handle accounts payable, receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with Ethiopian tax laws and company policies.
• Prepare monthly and annual financial summaries and reports.
• Monitor cash flow and assist in budget preparation.
• Coordinate with management and auditors during audits.
• Maintain accurate financial records and filing systems.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in accounting or finance.
• Experience in commercial building management or property accounting is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of Peachtree, ERP systems, and Excel.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Good command of English communication (written and spoken).
• High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
