Job Summary:
On behalf of our client we are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our client’s team managing a commercial building. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting knowledge, excellent attention to detail, and experience handling financial operations in a professional business environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee daily accounting operations.
- Prepare and maintain financial statements, ledgers, and reports.
- Handle accounts payable, receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with Ethiopian tax laws and company policies.
- Prepare monthly and annual financial summaries and reports.
- Monitor cash flow and assist in budget preparation.
- Coordinate with management and auditors during audits.
- Maintain accurate financial records and filing systems.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in accounting or finance.
- Experience in commercial building management or property accounting is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of Peachtree, ERP systems, and Excel.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Good command of English communication (written and spoken).
- High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
