Position Summary
The Senior Finance Officer will be responsible for overseeing the company’s financial operations, ensuring accuracy in reporting, compliance with regulations, and providing strategic financial insights to support growth. The role requires a detail-oriented finance professional with strong analytical and leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, analyze, and present accurate financial reports, statements, and forecasts.
- Oversee budgeting, cash flow management, and financial planning to support business operations.
- Monitor cost control measures and provide recommendations for improving efficiency in production and operations.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, accounting standards, and company policies.
- Supervise and guide junior finance staff, ensuring timely and accurate execution of finance-related tasks.
- Manage audits, liaise with external auditors, and ensure proper documentation of financial records.
- Support management in strategic decision-making through financial analysis and insights.
- Evaluate risks and develop strategies to mitigate financial challenges.
- Collaborate with procurement, production, and sales departments to align financial plans with business objectives.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 2+ years of progressive finance/accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations, tax laws, and compliance standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Peachtree, Excel, or ERP systems).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
