Job Summary:
The Auto Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems in heavy machinery and vehicles, with a strong focus on crusher plant equipment. The role ensures optimal performance of electrical components, minimizes downtime, and supports safe and efficient plant operations.
Qualification
- College Diploma in Auto Electrical Technology or a related technical field.
Experience
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, specifically in crusher plant environments and heavy industrial machinery.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults in crusher plant machinery and heavy equipment.
- Install, maintain, and service electrical wiring, systems, and control panels.
- Conduct preventive maintenance to reduce breakdowns and improve machine efficiency.
- Troubleshoot electrical and electronic system failures in industrial equipment.
- Ensure all electrical systems operate safely and comply with industry standards.
- Work closely with mechanical teams to support plant operations and repairs.
- Maintain accurate maintenance and repair logs.
- Inspect equipment regularly to ensure continuous and safe operation.
Required Skills and Competencies
- Strong knowledge of auto electrical systems in heavy machinery.
- Hands-on experience with crusher plant equipment and industrial systems.
- Ability to read electrical diagrams and technical manuals.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to safety standards and operational procedures.
- Ability to work under pressure in demanding environments.
- Teamwork and good communication skills.
