Job Summary
The Senior Payment Card System Administrator is responsible for developing, administering, and providing system support for in-house digital solutions and platforms related to payment card services. The role involves maintaining payment card systems, supporting end users, monitoring system performance, executing end-of-day operations, and translating business requirements into effective technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and provide system support for in-house digital payment card solutions and platforms.
- Monitor the health and performance of all card-related systems, including Base24-eps, CMM, PRM, Perso Systems, Acquirer, Interchange, and Issuer platforms.
- Execute daily end-of-day operations for each payment network.
- Configure terminals and maintain card channel platforms.
- Provide technical support to end users by identifying, diagnosing, and resolving system issues and malfunctions.
- Perform routine system maintenance to ensure availability, reliability, and optimal performance.
- Interpret business requirements and provide appropriate technical solutions.
- Monitor system performance and implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Ensure the security, integrity, and stability of payment card systems.
- Prepare system documentation and technical reports as required.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support payment card operations and continuous system improvements.
Academic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum of five (5) years of relevant professional experience.

- Monitoring and Follow-up: Ability to monitor and maintain the health of payment card systems, including Base24-eps, CMM, PRM, Perso Systems, Acquirer, Interchange, and Issuer platforms.
- End-of-Day Operations and Configuration: Ability to execute daily end-of-day operations and configure terminals across payment card platforms.
- System Support and Maintenance: Ability to identify, diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues while maintaining system stability and performance.
