Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage day-to-day construction activities on site
- Ensure work is executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and project schedule
- Set out works and verify levels, alignment, and measurements
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers
- Monitor work quality and ensure compliance with required standards
- Implement and enforce health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations
- Identify and resolve technical issues arising on site
- Prepare and maintain site reports, daily progress records, and documentation
- Monitor material usage and ensure proper storage on site
- Assist in project planning, scheduling, and progress tracking
- Measure completed works and support quantity and cost control
- Report progress, challenges, and delays to the Project Manager
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience, strong portfolio with experience in a similar position
- Knowledge of Ethiopian construction standards and materials is an advantage
