Job Summary
Orbit Health is seeking a skilled Software Developer to integrate Laboratory Management Information Systems (LMIS) with lab machines (hematology analyzers, PCR machines, etc.). You will work with lab staff, health program managers, and developers to ensure seamless system integration and accurate reporting.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Health Informatics, or related field
- Experience with LMIS (OpenELIS Global preferred) and lab machine integrations (HL7, ASTM)
- Proficiency in Java, Spring, Hibernate, RESTful APIs, PostgreSQL/MySQL
- Familiarity with middleware (Data Innovations, OpenHIM) and health standards (HL7, FHIR, LOINC)
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills
