Software Engineer

Job Description

The Software Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, implementing, and maintaining software solutions that support business and operational requirements. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to build scalable applications, improve system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure software quality throughout the development lifecycle.

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Network Engineering, or a related field.

Work Experience:

• Minimum 2–4 years of relevant work experience in software development.
• Experience in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain software applications and system components.
• Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into functional solutions.
• Write clean, efficient, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and issue resolution to ensure application stability.
• Participate in software architecture, system design, and code review activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, infrastructure, and business stakeholders.
• Develop and execute testing procedures to ensure software quality and performance.
• Monitor application performance and implement enhancements when required.
• Maintain software documentation and technical specifications.
• Ensure compliance with development standards, security requirements, and best practices.

Additional Requirements:

• Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, JavaScript, or PHP.
• Knowledge of databases and database management concepts.
• Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
• Experience with version control systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of software architecture and system integration concepts.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple development tasks and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to emerging technologies.
