Job Summary
The Garment Supervisor will play a critical role in overseeing the garment production process to ensure timely delivery and high-quality output. This role involves supervising production teams, coordinating daily operations, and maintaining adherence to design and quality specifications. In addition to managing workflow, the Garment Supervisor will support talent development and foster a positive work environment in alignment with the company’s organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate garment production operations on the factory floor.
- Ensure production targets are met in terms of quantity, quality, and delivery time.
- Maintain high standards of quality control and resolve any production issues.
- Monitor the performance of production staff and provide coaching where necessary.
- Collaborate with the design and technical teams to ensure product specifications are met.
- Enforce health, safety, and cleanliness standards within the production area.
- Provide regular progress reports to management.
- Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Textile Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 3–4 years of supervisory experience in garment manufacturing or a related industry.
- Strong knowledge of garment construction, fabric types, and production processes.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications is a plus.
