Job Summary
Atlas Computer Technology is seeking a highly motivated and skilled System Administrator with hands-on experience in managing IT systems within the Microfinance sector. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of our IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain servers, networks, and databases.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues proactively.
- Implement IT security policies to safeguard financial data.
- Provide technical support to staff and ensure smooth IT operations.
- Manage system backups, disaster recovery, and data protection procedures.
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors for system upgrades and integrations.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a System Administrator in a Microfinance Institution (mandatory).
- Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux servers, Active Directory, and networking.
- Experience with database administration (MS SQL, MySQL).
- Familiarity with security tools, firewalls, and data backup solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
