Key Responsibilities
- Prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information;
- Document financial transactions by entering account information in ERP;
- Recommend financial actions by analyzing accounting options;
- Summarize current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports;
- Substantiate financial transactions by auditing documents;
- Coordinate with auditor, insurance, and other statutory and local authorities for compliance;
- Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures;
- Guide accounting clerical staff by coordinating activities and answering questions;
- Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information;
- Secure financial information by completing database backups;
- Prepare MIS;
- Any other responsibility given by the management from time to time.
Key Result Areas
- Timely and accurate financial reporting;
- Days to complete month end;
- Adherence to process and compliance with system control.
Educational Requirement
BA/Diploma in Accounting and Finance or related field.
Experience
3 to 5 years of experience.
