Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Auditor with 1–2 years of relevant experience. The role involves supporting audit engagements, examining financial records, and assisting in ensuring compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and executing audit assignments under supervision
- Examine financial statements, accounting records, and supporting documents
- Perform audit tests and prepare audit working papers
- Support internal and external audit engagements
- Identify and report audit findings and discrepancies
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, audit procedures, and firm policies
- Assist in reviewing internal controls and risk assessments
- Participate in stock counts, cash counts, and field audit activities
- Maintain proper audit documentation and filing systems
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 1–2 years of accounting experience
- Audit firm experience is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and teamwork skills
