Ethiopian Airlines Group invites qualified applicants for the position of Adjunct Professor of Management Information Systems (MIS) for Aviation.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND:: Ph.D. in Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, earned in residence through a full-time program at an accredited institution.
- INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE:: Relevant experience in MIS or IT management, preferably within the aviation sector, including roles in system implementation, IT strategy, or consulting is desirable.
Key Expertise Areas:
- Management Information Systems: In-depth understanding of MIS concepts, frameworks, and practices, including system design, data management, and information systems strategy.
- Aviation Industry Insight: Familiarity with specific information systems used in the aviation industry, such as airline reservation systems, operational management systems, and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
- Information Technology Proficiency: Experience with various MIS tools and technologies, including databases (SQL), data analytics platforms, and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
- Systems Analysis and Design: Ability to analyze and design information systems tailored to the needs of aviation organizations.
LANGUAGE
- Knowledge of the working language, English, is mandatory.
