Educational Qualification
- Diploma or Certificate in Hospitality Management or a related field.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in hotel stewarding, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the stewarding department.
- Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen equipment, utensils, dishwashing areas, and back-of-house facilities.
- Maintain proper handling, storage, and inventory of kitchen equipment and supplies.
- Ensure compliance with hotel hygiene, sanitation, health, and safety standards.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and Food & Beverage departments to support smooth daily operations.
- Monitor the performance of stewarding staff and provide guidance and training when necessary.
- Schedule staff shifts and allocate duties to ensure efficient operations.
- Report equipment damage, maintenance needs, and inventory shortages promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of cleaning schedules, inventory, and equipment maintenance.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
