About the Job
The Claims Officer is responsible for reviewing, processing, and managing insurance or service-related claims in accordance with company policies and procedures. The role ensures accuracy in claims assessment, timely processing, proper documentation, and compliance with regulatory and internal standards. The officer also communicates with clients and relevant departments to resolve claim-related issues efficiently and professionally.
Qualification:
- MA/BA Degree in Business and Economics, or related field
- MSc/BSc Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Technology
Experience: 1–3 years of relevant work experience in claims processing, insurance, finance, or related operational fields.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
- Good understanding of financial or insurance processes
- Strong communication and client handling skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, reporting tools)
