Job Description
East Africa Bottling S.C., a subsidiary of Coca-Cola Beverages Africa and the exclusive bottler of Coca-Cola products in Ethiopia, invites passionate and qualified candidates to apply for the position of Compliance Officer. The successful candidate will report directly to the Country Lead Compliance.
Key Purpose
Ensure the organization operates in full compliance with statutory, regulatory, and internal requirements by proactively managing risks, strengthening internal controls, and fostering a culture of ethics and accountability.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct regular risk assessments and ensure timely closure of mitigation actions.
- Monitor compliance with statutory, regulatory, and internal requirements, highlighting gaps and recommending improvements.
- Support process owners with control self-assessments and ensure timely, objective reviews.
- Carry out compliance and audit checks, track action plans, and drive closure of findings.
- Build awareness of policy updates, regulatory changes, and promote a culture of ethics and accountability.
This role plays a key part in safeguarding the company’s reputation and driving sustainable, compliant business operations.
Skills, Experience & Education
- First degree in Accounting/Accounting and Finance or related field of study with a minimum of 5 years experience in Auditing, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- ACCA certification and Auditing experience is advantageous.
- Exposure in Compliance and Internal Control.
