Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to manage day-to-day financial operations and support the company’s accounting functions. The ideal candidate should have 1–3 years of experience in accounting, finance, or bookkeeping, preferably in a technology company, startup, or fast-paced business environment.

The role involves maintaining accurate financial records, supporting reporting processes, and ensuring compliance with financial and tax regulations in Ethiopia.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle daily accounting operations including bookkeeping and ledger maintenance
• Record and reconcile financial transactions accurately and timely
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
• Prepare vouchers, invoices, and financial documents
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
• Support bank reconciliations and cash flow tracking
• Ensure compliance with Ethiopian tax and financial regulations
• Assist in budgeting and expense monitoring
• Maintain proper financial documentation and filing systems
• Support audits and internal financial reviews when required

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 1-3 years of relevant accounting experience
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial reporting
• Experience with accounting software is an advantage
• Good analytical and numerical skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
