Job Overview:

TinaMart is seeking a detail-oriented Data Encoder to oversee and manage the quality of product listings submitted by our product Lister through the platform. This role ensures that each product meets our established standards before it goes live on our online store. The ideal candidate is sharp-eyed, organized, and confident in guiding product Lister toward high-quality listings that align with TinaMart’s brand and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review, approve, or reject product listings submitted by product Lister on TinaMart’s shop portal.
• Cross-check product information for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to platform guidelines (e.g., image quality, category tagging, descriptions, and pricing).
• Follow a clear set of criteria to maintain consistency and quality across all product uploads.
• Communicate with sellers to provide constructive feedback, corrections, and improvement suggestions on rejected listings.
• Maintain a tracking log of approved, rejected, and pending listings for team reference.
• Collaborate with the marketing and operations team to ensure listing quality supports promotional campaigns.
• Report recurring issues and suggest improvements to the product listing criteria or seller onboarding guides.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in IT, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Basic understanding of e-commerce operations and product categorization.
• Good communication skills in both Amharic and English.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
