Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Data Entry Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate should be consistent, hardworking, and comfortable working with data on a daily basis. Educational background is not a strict requirement—what matters most is commitment, accuracy, and willingness to learn.
Key Responsibilities
- Enter, update, and maintain accurate data in company systems
- Verify data for accuracy and completeness
- Organize and manage digital records
- Follow data entry guidelines and timelines
- Communicate with the team when clarification or corrections are needed
- Maintain confidentiality of company information
Preferred Qualifications & Skills
- Knowledge of or familiarity with neighboring countries such as Kenya, Uganda, and Rwanda is a strong advantage
- Consistent, disciplined, and hardworking attitude
- Basic computer skills and typing ability
- Technical background (IT, tech-related experience, or interest) is preferred but not mandatory
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Requirements
- Applicant must live close to Bole (or be able to commute easily)
- Must have own PC or laptop
- Willingness to work full-time hours as outlined below
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (full day)
- Saturday: Half day
- Sunday: Off
Salary & Compensation
Net Salary: 5,000 ETB, Based on performance
Contract: 5 months, may change into permanent position and increase in salary depending on performance.
