Documentation Officer

Job Summary

On behalf of our client, a logistics company, we are seeking a Documentation Officer with 2 years or more experience in handling import (inbound) logistics documentation. The role is responsible for preparing, checking, and managing all documents related to bringing materials into the country, ensuring compliance with customs and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, review, and manage import logistics documentation
• Handle all documents related to materials entering the country
• Ensure compliance with customs, trade, and government regulations
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs offices, shipping lines, and clearing agents
• Follow up on customs clearance processes through proper documentation
• Maintain accurate and well-organized documentation records
• Track shipments and ensure timely submission of required documents
• Identify and resolve documentation issues without delay

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of proven experience as a Documentation Officer in a logistics or clearing company
• Strong knowledge of import procedures and inbound logistics documents
• Familiarity with customs clearance processes and regulations
• Good attention to detail and document control skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Email)
• Good communication and coordination skills
