Job Description
The Driver is responsible for safely transporting staff, documents, and materials while ensuring timely delivery and adherence to traffic regulations.
The role also involves maintaining the assigned vehicle in clean and good working condition and supporting general office transport needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport employees, guests, and company materials as assigned
- Ensure timely pick-up and drop-off according to schedules
- Keep the assigned vehicle clean and properly maintained
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues promptly
- Follow all traffic laws and company safety procedures
- Maintain accurate travel logs, fuel usage records, and service schedules
- Support office errands such as document delivery, bank runs, and purchases
- Assist with loading and unloading items when necessary
Requirements
- Valid driving license Level I and above with a clean driving record
- Minimum of 4 years of proven driving experience
- Good knowledge of Addis Ababa roads, routes, and traffic regulations
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting
- Punctual, honest, and responsible
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours when required
