Driver

Job Summery

The Driver is responsible to transport passengers or goods safely and efficiently. This role needs someone who has a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and strong knowledge of traffic laws. The role may involve local or long-distance travel, vehicle maintenance, and adherence to company policies execution.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and maintain company vehicles (e.g., cars, vans, trucks) in compliance with traffic laws.
• Transport passengers, goods, or materials to designated locations on time.
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections (check oil, fuel, tires, etc.).
• Follow assigned routes or use GPS/navigation tools efficiently.
• Ensure timely deliveries/pickups and maintain accurate logs (mileage, fuel, schedules).
• Assist with loading/unloading goods when required.
• Report accidents, delays, or vehicle issues to management immediately.
• Adhere to company safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the vehicle.
• Provide excellent customer service and behavioral code.

Qualification

• Educational background- Above 12th Grade
• Experience: - At least 3 years on similar job
• Valid driver’s license.
• Proven experience as a driver (professional or personal).
• Clean driving record with no major violations.
• Familiarity with GPS devices and route planning.
• Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge (e.g., checking fluids, tire pressure).
• Punctual, dependable, and able to work independently.
• Physical stamina for long drives.
• Strong communication skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
