Job Summery
The Driver is responsible to transport passengers or goods safely and efficiently. This role needs someone who has a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and strong knowledge of traffic laws. The role may involve local or long-distance travel, vehicle maintenance, and adherence to company policies execution.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate and maintain company vehicles (e.g., cars, vans, trucks) in compliance with traffic laws.
- Transport passengers, goods, or materials to designated locations on time.
- Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections (check oil, fuel, tires, etc.).
- Follow assigned routes or use GPS/navigation tools efficiently.
- Ensure timely deliveries/pickups and maintain accurate logs (mileage, fuel, schedules).
- Assist with loading/unloading goods when required.
- Report accidents, delays, or vehicle issues to management immediately.
- Adhere to company safety policies and procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the vehicle.
- Provide excellent customer service and behavioral code.
Qualification
- Educational background- Above 12th Grade
- Experience: - At least 3 years on similar job
- Valid driver’s license.
- Proven experience as a driver (professional or personal).
- Clean driving record with no major violations.
- Familiarity with GPS devices and route planning.
- Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge (e.g., checking fluids, tire pressure).
- Punctual, dependable, and able to work independently.
- Physical stamina for long drives.
- Strong communication skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
