Position Overview
ChipChip is seeking an accomplished Executive Director of Warehouse & Logistics to oversee and enhance all aspects of our warehouse, logistics, and distribution functions. This senior leadership role is pivotal in ensuring the efficient movement of products from suppliers to end customers, supporting the scalability and accuracy of our e-commerce operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Developing advanced warehouse management systems
- Optimizing logistics workflows
- Driving ongoing improvements to facilitate the company’s growth trajectory
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership in Warehouse & Logistics
- Provide top-level direction for all warehouse and logistics activities
- Design and implement scalable frameworks for operational expansion
- Guarantee seamless integration between inbound and outbound logistics
Warehouse Operations & Inventory Management
- Supervise warehouse organization and maximize storage efficiency
- Apply robust stock management techniques to reduce losses
- Champion the adoption of warehouse automation and reporting tools
Logistics and Distribution Planning
- Oversee the complete logistics process, including transportation management
- Ensure prompt and dependable deliveries to customers
- Identify and implement cost-reduction strategies
Process Improvement & Operational Excellence
- Evaluate operational processes to detect inefficiencies
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Partner with technology teams for seamless integration
Cross-Departmental Collaboration & Leadership
- Work closely with the finance department to align expenditures
- Coordinate with sourcing and procurement teams for a steady flow of products
- Collaborate with other business units to achieve organizational objectives
Team Development & Performance Oversight
- Build, mentor, and lead high-performing teams
- Define clear performance goals and assess achievements
- Ensure teams are properly staffed and trained
Required Qualifications and Experience
Education & Background
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related discipline
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a senior leadership role
- Demonstrated success in managing large-scale operations
