Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Finance Manager to lead and optimize financial operations across our multi-branch retail and production business. This role involves managing budgets, cost controls, compliance, and strategic financial planning to support the company’s growth objectives.

Reports To: Director of Finance
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans for all business units.
- Monitor budget performance and provide detailed variance analysis across branches.
- Implement cost control measures for procurement, production, and retail operations.
- Provide strategic financial insights to support executive decision-making.
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP) and regulatory requirements.
- oversee cash flow, liquidity, banking relationships, and loan management.
- Forecast cash requirements and optimize working capital.
- Supervise day-to-day accounting operations, including reconciliations and journal entries.
- Coordinate internal and external audits and maintain strong internal controls.
- Identify operational cost-saving opportunities and implement expense control procedures.
- Lead and mentor finance teams across multiple branches, fostering professional development.
- Assess financial risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Manage and enhance ERP systems for integrated financial processes.
- Drive process improvements to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of progressive finance experience, including 2–3 years in a managerial role.
- Experience in retail, production, or export finance is highly desirable.
- Professional certification (ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of Ethiopian tax laws, financial reporting standards, and audit practices.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications
