Exciting Finance Manager Role

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Finance Manager to lead and optimize financial operations across our multi-branch retail and production business. This role involves managing budgets, cost controls, compliance, and strategic financial planning to support the company’s growth objectives.

Reports To: Director of Finance

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans for all business units.
• Monitor budget performance and provide detailed variance analysis across branches.
• Implement cost control measures for procurement, production, and retail operations.
• Provide strategic financial insights to support executive decision-making.
• Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP) and regulatory requirements.
• oversee cash flow, liquidity, banking relationships, and loan management.
• Forecast cash requirements and optimize working capital.
• Supervise day-to-day accounting operations, including reconciliations and journal entries.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and maintain strong internal controls.
• Identify operational cost-saving opportunities and implement expense control procedures.
• Lead and mentor finance teams across multiple branches, fostering professional development.
• Assess financial risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Manage and enhance ERP systems for integrated financial processes.
• Drive process improvements to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of progressive finance experience, including 2–3 years in a managerial role.
• Experience in retail, production, or export finance is highly desirable.
• Professional certification (ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of Ethiopian tax laws, financial reporting standards, and audit practices.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications
