Job Description
New Flower General Trading P.L.C., engaged in multiple business ventures including coffee cleaning and warehousing, foam manufacturing, import & export, transportation services, construction, and vehicle assembly, is seeking a competent candidate for the following position.
Executive Summary
A Finance Manager oversees the organization’s financial operations to ensure sustainability and profitability. The role includes financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and risk analysis, while providing strategic insights to senior leadership and ensuring compliance with regulations.
Main Duties and Responsibilities of the Position
The role involves managing financial operations and ensuring effective utilization of organizational resources.
- Plan, organize, direct, supervise, and control the work of the Finance and Accounting Department
- Ensure resources are used economically and efficiently for approved activities
- Issue and implement financial guidelines upon approval
- Prepare and implement operating and capital budgets
- Ensure timely collection of revenues and accurate recording of transactions
- Prepare and submit financial statements including profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow reports
- Monitor expenses, approve payments, and ensure timely processing
- Advise on cash requirements and funding sources
- Ensure proper cost allocation across cost centers
- Conduct and monitor periodic inventory of goods and assets
- Supervise and modernize the accounting system
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and timely tax payments
- Oversee payroll preparation and payment processes
- Ensure timely VAT reporting and payments
- Prepare weekly cash position reports
- Submit periodic performance reports and special reports as required
Required Skills and Qualifications
Candidates should meet the following requirements:
- MA or BA degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field from a recognized university or college
- IFRS training and experience using accounting software
- 8–10 years of work experience, with at least 4 years in a responsible position
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and other accounting software
- High attention to detail and strong analytical and mathematical abilities
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of bookkeeping principles and regulatory standards such as IFRS
- Ability to manage deadlines and work under pressure
