Key Responsibilities and Deliverables:
- Implementation of set internal financial controls, policies, and procedures
- Implementation of financial risk management and controls
- Ensure all transactions are recorded accurately
- OTIF payment of salaries, wages, transport, reimbursement of claims, and statutory payments
- Timely preparation and sharing of correct, complete, and accurate invoices and statements of accounts
- Budget monitoring and implementation, including preparation of the budget
- Ensure adherence to Ethiopian financial and tax compliances including filing of tax returns
- Management and control of cash-flows and working capital
- Accurate and timely preparation of financial management reports
- Stakeholder management, including internal staff, client finance, and procurement
Minimum Qualifications:
- Degree / MBA in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
Minimum Experience:
- 2–3 years of Financial Management experience in retail/FMCG
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Communication skills (verbal and written)
- Interpersonal skills
- Solid understanding of accounting principles
- Knowledge of local statutory legislation and regulations
