About the Role
The HR Associate will support Kifiya’s People and Culture team by conducting detailed audits of HR records, documentation, and systems to ensure compliance with organizational policies and legal requirements. This role focuses on maintaining accurate personnel records, ensuring proper display of labor posters, and promoting best practices in HR documentation and data management. The HR Associate will work closely with HR leadership to identify gaps, recommend improvements, and ensure a high standard of recordkeeping and HR compliance across the organization.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct thorough audits of HR records and personnel files to ensure they are current, complete, and accurately maintained.
- Verify that employee documents are retained for the legally required duration.
- Ensure all labor posters are displayed visibly and in accordance with legal requirements.
- Review and assess the use of the HRIS system for data accuracy and efficiency.
- Provide training to managers and employees on personnel file management, policies, and procedures.
- Identify gaps and recommend improvements for HR recordkeeping and documentation processes.
- Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to HR leadership.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Proven experience in HR administration, recordkeeping, or compliance auditing preferred.
- Strong understanding of HR policies, labor laws, and documentation standards.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and MS Office applications.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and maintain high professional integrity.
