Job Summary
GeezJobs is seeking a business-minded HR professional for a manufacturing project. The role focuses primarily on human resource management (80%) while also supporting business-related activities (20%), such as handling project requests, tenders, and operational coordination.
The ideal candidate is proactive, business-aware, and strategic, capable of managing HR operations efficiently while contributing to key business processes to ensure smooth project execution.
Key Responsibilities
Primary HR Responsibilities (80%):
- Manage recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and performance management.
- Support leadership in workforce planning, HR strategy, and team development.
- Maintain HR documentation, policies, and compliance with labor laws and safety regulations.
- Implement employee engagement initiatives and foster a positive work culture.
- Coordinate payroll, leave management, and HR administrative tasks.
Secondary Business Responsibilities (20%):
- Handle project requests, tender submissions, and related business documentation.
- Support management in coordinating operational and business activities.
- Liaise with suppliers, clients, and internal teams on project-related business tasks.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of HR experience, preferably in leadership roles in manufacturing.
- Knowledge of business coordination, tender handling, or operational support is a plus.
- Strong understanding of HR policies, labor laws, and best practices.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to balance HR responsibilities with business support tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in MS Office and HR or project management tools.
