Evtopia Hub is Ethiopia’s emerging leader in electric vehicle (EV) innovation, smart mobility services, and advanced automotive maintenance. As we continue to expand our operations and build the nation’s smartest EV + ICE repair and maintenance ecosystem, we are looking for a dedicated and proactive HR Officer to join our growing team.

Key Responsibilities

The HR Officer will play a vital role in building a strong team and supporting a professional, productive work environment.

Core duties include:

• Recruit, shortlist, and onboard new employees.
• Maintain accurate HR records, contracts, and documentation.
• Manage attendance, leave, and ensure compliance with labor laws.
• Support performance evaluations and handle employee concerns professionally.
• Coordinate training and development programs.
• Act as a link between employees and management to ensure clear communication, timely issue resolution, and smooth workflow across the hub.
• Support operational efficiency by managing staff schedules and ensuring each department has the manpower needed for daily operations.
• Promote a positive workplace culture and support disciplinary processes when necessary.
• Prepare HR reports and maintain updated HR databases.

Qualifications

• BA degree in Human Resource Management, Management, Business Administration, or related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience as an HR Officer or related role
• Strong knowledge of Ethiopian labor law
• Good communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in automotive, service, or tech sectors is an advantage
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure
• Strong problem-solving and people-management abilities
• Attention to detail and proactive work ethic
